Mbini Bridge in Equatorial Guinea
The bridge located between Bata City and Mbini City, crosses over the southern and northern banks of the Wele River with the total length of 1698m. It is a single-tower, double cable plane, prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridge which consists of main bridge, approach and approach road. The Bridge is not only the symbolic structure of Equatorial Guinea, but also the unique cable-stayed bridge even in West and Central Africa. The main bridge is 1057m long, the bridge deck is 13m wide, the height of the main tower is 81.447m, and the contract amount is 46,020,000EUR.Commenced in Jan, 2010, the total contract period is 33 months. On August 2012, the project has been completed in advance and come into service.
